 The White Widow strain has a 60:40 Sativa/Indica ratio (Brazil Sativa X South Indian Indica).  It was reportedly developed in the highlands of Kerala but was first bred in the Netherlands in the early 1990s. White trichomes completely cover the resin-soaked cones that make up the buds giving it a closer resemblance to a chandelier rather than a bud. White Widow’s genetics have given rise to numerous other well-known strains such as White Russian, White Rhino, and Blue Widow. Even still many cultivators prefer growing White Widow due it its strong genetics, yield, and its resilience to bugs and many strains of mold, making it a clean strain to smoke for people with health issues. Furthermore, it blooms in 60 days making it ideal when averaging annual yields.
